chris jones



Founder and Co-Owner





Chris founded West View Title Agency in March 2004. Chris received a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Law. Chris has been practicing as an attorney since 2000, and doing so in Harrisonburg since 2003. Chris is responsible for the day to day operations of West View Title Agency, including reviewing files and title work for accuracy. Chris also operates a separate law firm that is available to advise clients on legal matters when requested.



Laura sager



Co-Owner





Laura began working for West View Title Agency in May of 2005 as a Title Examiner. In 2006 Laura became a licensed Title Agent and a notary public for the Commonwealth of Virginia. Laura is responsible for conducting closings, reviewing title work, monitoring construction loans and preparing final title insurance policies.



Brittany Shuey



Processing Manager





Brittany Shuey began working for West View Title Agency in December of 2018. As a processor, Brittany diligently works with realtors, lenders, and clients to process files from start to finish. This includes, making contacts, reviewing contracts, agreements, title work, and closing packages. In addition, she works alongside lenders to finalize Closing Disclosures and Settlement Statements, prepares documents to record at the designated clerk’s offices, and handles disbursements and reconciliations. Brittany is a notary public for the Commonwealth of Virginia and acts a Settlement Agent, reviewing documents and lender packages with clients on Closing Day.



Darlene Cowart



Processor





Darlene Cowart began working at West View Title Agency in December 2024. As a processor, Darlene diligently works with realtors, lenders, and clients to process files from start to finish. This includes, making contacts, reviewing contracts, agreements, title work, and closing packages. In addition, she works alongside lenders to finalize Closing Disclosures and Settlement Statements, prepares documents to record at the designated clerk’s offices, and handles disbursements and reconciliations. Darlene is a notary public for the Commonwealth of Virginia and acts a Settlement Agent, reviewing documents and lender packages with clients on Closing Day.



Sandi Quinn



Processor Assistant





Sandi began working at West View Title Agency in November 2024. Sandi is a licensed Title Agent, Settlement Agent, and Title Examiner. She diligently assists the processors and underwriters with any tasks they need, as well as taking care of funding authorization. Sandi is also a licensed notary public for the Commonwealth of Virginia.



Veronica troncoso



Title Operations Coordinator





Veronica Troncoso began working at West View Title Agency in July 2024 as a Title Team Member. She assists with incoming phone calls and clients, and manages incoming title orders. She works to assign processors and closing dates to new files and handles initial reach outs. Veronica also assists with disbursements and post-closing. Veronica is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish. Veronica is also a notary public for the Commonwealth of Virginia.



sara silvious



Title Agent





Sara began working at West View Title Agency in November of 2012. She is a licensed Title Agent. As a Title Agent, Sara carefully reviews all of the documents produced from the title examinations in order to prepare the title commitment for lenders and owners, as well as prepares seller and buyer documents for closing. Sara is also a notary public for the Commonwealth of Virginia.



paul pineo



Title Examiner





Paul began working at West View Title Agency in October of 2015. Paul handles all incoming title search requests for Rockingham, Augusta, and Page Counties, as well as the cities of Harrisonburg, Waynesboro, and Staunton. In addition, he handles all of the recordings for the documents after closing at the designated clerk’s offices. Paul is a licensed title examiner and notary public for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
